Oxford Conference September 2005

The Internet Safety Group – NetSafe and The University of Auckland partnered with the Oxford Internet Institute (based within Oxford University) and EURIM (The European Information Society Group) to organise a major international conference in the UK during September 2005.

Modelled on the previous conferences hosted by The Internet Safety Group - NetSafe, the conference focussed on Safety and Security in a Networked World: Balancing Cyber-Rights and Responsibilities.

As with previous NetSafe conferences, the September conference brought together child welfare, schools, businesses, law enforcement, academia and many other sectors to discuss and debate issues of online safety and security.

Webcasts (online videos) of various speakers and interviewees at the conference are available on the Oxford Internet Institute website. Click here to go to their website.
