Definition of Terms and conditions

The terms and conditions of a competition should tell you:

• How to enter
• What you can win by entering
• The closing date for entries
• How much (if anything) it costs to enter, particularly if you have to enter by text (whether you are signing up to a subscription service by entering the competition)
• What will happen to the personal details you gave upon entry once the competition closes (for example, will they be destroyed? Shared with other people/companies?)
• If, by entering the competition, you agree to the organisers or other organisations contacting you again.
