When can I text?

When can I text?

 Some people find it rude if you use text to contact someone while having a face-to-face conversation with someone else. Your friends may not mind, but older people like your parents or grandparents may not like it. No text is so important that you can’t finish your conversation first!
 Even though texting can be a great way to stay in contact with your friends, it’s important to take some time out from texting as well. You might want to turn your phone off while you’re having dinner or spending time with your family, or while you’re asleep (as most of your friends are likely to be asleep then as well!). Talk to your parents to work out when it’s ok to text, and when it’s best to not.
