KidSafe Parental Control

KidSafe is a software and hardware based solution that, once installed allows parents to control access to a computer.
Once the software is installed, the KidSafe key must be plugged into one of the USB ports in order for the PC to work. If the key is removed, the KidSafe software will lock the PC and it will remain unusable until the key is plugged in again.

ModemLockDown was developed following an article on Fair Go in 2002 about the use of the Internet at inappropriate times and without supervision etc. ModemLockDown denies access to the Internet until a supervisor is present to unlock the restriction via a password. There is also support for pre-allocated access times on a per user & day of the week basis. ModemLockDown is easy to use, has full documentation and retails for $9.95 USD. There is a 30 day trial period associated with the product for users to evaluate it.
