Cybercitizenship Pathway

Cybercitizens manage their use of ICT with integrity and confidence.

The NetSafe Cybercitizenship Pathway is an exciting new guide for teachers as they integrate cybercitizenship education across their programmes.

The Pathway provides teachers and educators in any curriculum area, from ECE level through to school year 13, with a progression of cybercitizenship attributes, appropriate learning objectives, suggested activities and recommended resources.

Over time this resource will evolve into an interactive online database linking to New Zealand cybersafety resources such as Hector’s World TM, overseas resources, and lesson plans and feedback submitted by teachers. All resources will be accompanied by ideas for integration with The New Zealand Curriculum.

At present the NetSafe Cybercitizenship Pathway is available only as a pdf document. The interactive version will be available soon. Watch this space!
