Online Trading

Trade Me is the biggest website in the country (more popular, even, than Bebo!) so it should come as no surprise that one of the most popular things we Kiwis do online is trade. It’s great to grab a bargain or get a wicked deal on something, but what do you do when things go wrong? Check out some tips and advice below.

When you’re trading online, keep an eye out for:

• scams
• leaving an inappropriate digital footprint
• sexually explicit material
• harassment and abuse
• other inappropriate material

You can also check out the ‘online auctions’ page in the adults section to see what a normal trade should look like!
