Introducing the Online Safety Parent Toolkit

Our guide to help parents and whānau keep their child safe online

One of the things parents and whānau can do to provide better online experiences for young people is to talk regularly to their kids about online safety. While there might be a gap between what a parent knows about digital technology and what a child knows, parents can share life skills and experiences that children haven’t developed yet. As it can be hard to know how to start this conversation, Netsafe has created the Online Safety Parent Toolkit to guide you. Check out netsafe.org.nz/parenttoolkit
