Netsafe is participating in the Auckland University of Technology ‘Mana Tū, Mana ora – Take Control of Your Wellbeing’ event, to help us better connect with rangatahi. Already there’s been great discussion about how to maximise online opportunities safely – for study and socialising – and how Netsafe can help if things go wrong.

The expo is designed to reassure students that there are people and services to support a range of their challenges, including those that arise from online incidents. Netsafe’s team – including ambassadors from our Youth Action Squad – will be available to talk to students wanting to learn more about online safety and the support available for incidents such as bullying, scams, image-based abuse and social media privacy settings.

Drop by and meet the team when at AUT

Netsafe is excited to engage with as many students as possible. Come and say hello and pick up some free Netsafe lollies!
