The launch of the website marked the end of the first phase of 6 months work for project teams from Vodafone, The Parenting Place and NetSafe. But there is still more to come.

The website is a “digital Hub” of resources designed to help parent navigate their way through the complex world of young people online. It is hoped that the site will act as a first port of call for many parents who are confused about what their role is in the online environment that their children spend time in. It contains advice and guidance, tips and tricks, interviews with experts and links to other sites should parents want to look deeper into specific content areas.

The project was a great example of co-operative research, development and delivery between the partners. Vodafone with products aimed at improving the safety equation within households, The Parenting Place with their extensive experience helping families with a range of “tough” dilemmas, NetSafe with it’s knowledge and experience of online challenges and our focus on building resiliency, and the creative teams from FCB and Y&R with their incredible communication skills.

We are pleased to have been involved with the project, and are delighted by the end product. Work is already underway on the next phase, and we are committed to its development to ensure that it can provide families with the resources they need to maintain a happy, productive and harmonious online experience at home.
