Most students are fairly familiar with the devices they are using and how the platforms work. Where they aren’t quite as savvy is understanding the implications of sharing content online and how to share and participate in ways which protect not only their own wellbeing but also that of others.
Sharing school expectations around appropriate online interactions and providing them with information to support them when online is a great place to start. We have gathered together information to share directly with students as well as resources to help schools and kura put in place expectations around the safe and responsible use of digital devices and online spaces.
